Research needs
Some research needs have been identified during
the course of this Network. These consist of:
- More use of supplementary cementitious
materials for the bulk concrete production with moderate environmental
exposure:
- what is the realistic clinker content for
this type of concrete?
- is there a risk of leaching of heavy metals
after demolition?
- EPD’s from ready mix producers
- What is the potential for CO2 uptake
of concrete through carbonation?
- How to produce green self-compacting concrete?
