ETNRecy, the European Thematic Network on the Use of Recycled Materials as Aggregates in the Construction Industry, was a setup under the fourth Framework Program with the financial support of DG Research of the European Commission. Some newsletters were published:

More information about the Nordic project ”CO₂ uptake during the concrete life cycle”. The objectives of the project is to provide documentation of concrete carbonation, i.e. CO₂ uptake. The purpose of this documentation is twofold. Firstly, it is to be used for environmental assessments of specific concrete buildings and structures. Secondly, it is the intention to evaluate the effect of concrete carbonation on the overall CO₂ emissions from cement and concrete production in the Nordic countries.

The project runs from December 2003-August 2005.

The scope of the Construction Sector Network Environmental Project (CSNPE) to provide the framework for the seminar, with links to the environmental area of CEN.

This workshop was aimed at bringing together representatives from the construction sector and from environment to exchange information on available tools to address the requirements from the CPD. Presentations in pdf are available.
