Management and Co-ordination (Task Group 1)

Objectives

Task group 1 has to co-ordinate the network and has to assure a well functioning network.

Description of work

Co-ordination and management of the network requires first of all planning. This planning will comprise action in relation to the following activities:

• Definition of the overall work plan of the network. Draft overall time table of all major networking events.
• Co-ordination of work in task groups 2-4
• Co-ordination of the work in the network clusters and assurance of dissemination of results
• Monitoring of the timely delivery of specific deliverables, monitoring of cluster milestones
• Revision of overall planning if required
• Communication with the Commission
• Communication with European stakeholders
• Submission of periodic reports and cost statements
• Financial management and budget control
